Ways you can help:

1. Come to our Community Meeting on September 8th at 6 pm at LaBelle Haven Baptist Church in Olive Branch.
2. Come to the Board of Supervisors meeting on September 19th. Bring neighbors. Bring friends. WE NEED TO PACK THE HOUSE!
3. Write a letter stating your opposition to Standard Construction’s application. It can be a very short letter – but write it, mail it and BRING A COPY OF IT WITH YOU TO THE BOARD MEETING on September 19th. We will collect letters at 10:45 that morning before the board meeting.
4. Sign the petition – you can sign a petition at our community meeting, or you can visit our facebook page or website to download a petition (print, sign and bring with you to the meeting). Please get as many signatures as possible.
5. STAY CONNECTED!  There is a Facebook page where we are collaborating by discussion, posting links, flyers, petitions and communicating information and meeting updates. Please follow us! Our Facebook page can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/stopstandardconstruction/

Your presence and input is valued and needed. We need you to attend these meetings. And remember, this doesn’t just affect residents living adjacent to the proposed mining operation: any concerned citizen that travels Highway 305, Woolsey or Bethel roads will be affected. Even if you live in another  municipality, if you go to church near the area affected, or have kids in school in Lewisburg, or do business in the area, then YOU ARE AFFECTED AND YOUR VOICE IS IMPORTANT. Please share this information with as many people as you can – we need EVERYONE to attend these meetings.
