The Board of Supervisors is planning to amend the current ordinance at their upcoming meeting on April 4th, 2016. Their intention is to renew the "sunset clause" which effectively extends the application date for gravel and sand mining operations. Please call your representative and let them know that you do not want the date extended, and in fact, would prefer that the conditional use sub-section, as it pertains to gravel and sand mining, be removed from the Agriculture/Residential Zoning section.
